CIO Power List 2017: Awarding India’s trailblazing CIOs and ICT leaders

The two-day event celebrated and honoured leaders driving business through IT strategies and innovations.

The country’s most eminent and influential CIOs were awarded in a glittering ceremony spread across two days that celebrated their executive excellence and ability to leverage technology to shape innovations, solutions, and opinions to drive business. More than 100 powerful CIOs were felicitated with the CIO Power List 2017 recognition and honour across 39 categories. The CIO Power List 2017, with knowledge partner KPMG, was held across May 5 and 6, and hosted at Novotel Imagica near Mumbai.

The winners were shortlisted on the basis of a range of information and data points accumulated from a number of sources, including the CIO’s reach and reputation in conventional, online and print media, features in business publications and technology magazines, awards, honours, and recognitions won, media associations, and an all-India survey of their peers in the CIO community. The CIOs were also asked to share personal accounts of key highlights of the last year.
