1. Mysore, Karnataka
Mysore has been rapidly gaining a reputation for being one of the best skydiving destinations in India, and not without reason. A few hours journey from Bangalore, Mysore is located at the base of the Chamundi Hills, and has hosted countless skydiving camps over the years. From tandem and static jumps to accelerated free falls, the place offers a number of different kinds of skydiving, along with a two to three-days professional course if you want to prepare for a solo skydiving session while taking in the breathtaking view of the landscape below.

2. Deesa, Gujarat
This enchanting lakeside city could very well compete for the top position in this list owing to the abundant greenery and blue skies that make it look like it’s straight out of a painting. Gujarat is the first Indian state to have a certified drop-zone, and the city is often known to play host to several skydiving camps of the Sports Authority of Gujarat and the Indian Parachuting Federation. The thrill of soaring in the skies above Deesa, with the wind rushing by is one that has made many a tourist come back time and again for more!

3. Aamby Valley, Maharashtra
If one is a true adrenaline junkie, skydiving in Aamby Valley simply cannot be left off your bucket list. Jumping from a height of 10,000 feet with the sprawling Aamby Valley below is indescribable. The entire adventure lasts for 45 minutes, during which you cannot help but be in awe of Mother Nature, while gazing at the beautiful lush landscape below. Only tandem jumps are allowed here, so pack up and head on over, for the most unforgettable experience of your life!

4. Pondicherry
Known for its French colonial influence and old world charm, Pondicherry is one of the most enchanting skydiving destinations in India. The beautiful town is well known for its picturesque beauty and breath-taking scenery, and is a favourite when it comes to adventure sports. With several skydiving camps organised frequently, you have options for static line jumps and tandem jumps. The free-fall from 4,000 feet will definitely have you coming back for more!
